SunTrust Banks, Inc. today announced that SunTrust Retirement Services, a division of SunTrust Bank, has added three new fund partners to its 401(k) product line. Clients will now have additional investment choices provided by Dreyfus, Federated Investors, Inc., and MFS Investment Management.

"These three new fund families complement our existing lineup of fund partners and provide our clients with more choices across style categories and asset classes," said Brad Ball, senior vice president and national sales manager of SunTrust Retirement Services.

Specifically, the expanded SunTrust Retirement Services fund lineup now includes: Dreyfus Premier Tech Growth Fund, Dreyfus New Leaders Fund, Dreyfus Mid-Cap Value Fund, Dreyfus Premier Balanced Fund, Federated International Small Company Fund, Federated Growth Strategies Fund, Federated Aggressive Growth Fund, Federated Equity-Income Fund, MFS New Discovery Fund, MFS Mid-Cap Growth Fund, MFS Capital Opportunities Fund, and MFS Massachusetts Investors Growth Fund. The program's current fund partners include AIM Funds, American Century, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Janus and STI Classic funds.

"Our expanded investment options leverage SunTrust's internal management expertise as well as the industry's leading managers," Ball continued. "One of our main goals is to offer all of our clients the flexibility they are seeking when saving for retirement."

All alliance and proprietary funds included in the SunTrust Retirement Services 401(k) product line are reviewed at least annually by an internal investment committee to ensure each fund remains style specific and has not experienced "drift" from the philosophy under which it was selected to participate in the program.
