SunTrust to Present at Putnam Lovell Financial Services Conference

SunTrust Banks, Inc. will present at the Putnam Lovell Securities Inc. Annual Financial Services Conference in New York on Monday, April 2, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. eastern standard time. SunTrust's presentation will be made by James M. Wells, III, vice chairman, SunTrust Banks, Inc. It will include, among other things, a review of 2000 results, an update on credit quality and the outlook for the coming year.
