SunTrust Bank Receivables Capital Management to Open Los Angeles Office

SunTrust Bank Receivables Capital Management, formerly known as SunTrust Bank Factoring, today announced that it has hired two Factoring professionals to establish an office in Los Angeles.

Chris Rogers, a 16-year Factoring industry veteran, joins SunTrust as manager of the new office. Before joining SunTrust, Rogers was a senior vice president at Banc of America Commercial Corp. in Los Angeles. Joining Rogers as senior account executive is Tri Sciarra. Sciarra was previously a portfolio manager with Banc of America Commercial Corp. Prior to that, he served as controller at The Associates Commercial Corp. and in other roles at other factoring companies.

"Our new office in Los Angeles will allow us to better serve clients and support future growth in this important market," said Tim Woodall, senior vice president and manager of SunTrust Receivables Capital Management. "We are pleased to have Chris and Tri join our team. Their experience and expertise will allow us to significantly enhance our presence on the West Coast."

Seattle-based Greg Binney, who oversees business development for SunTrust Receivables Capital Management in the Northwest will report to Rogers.
